Roger Q. Mills Revitalization

I grew up in Dallas and was labeled as a transient student. I attended four or five elementary schools during my elementary years, so I was very humbled to have the opportunity to return to the community in which I was raised. My boys and I, along with countless volunteers, spent the day sprucing up the school! We had an opportunity to spruce up lockers and organize classroom libraries.

Mosaic Purse Ministry

We orginally committed to visiting the Austin Street shelter, but we had so many purses that we drove around downtown Dallas and distributed purses to four more shelters. We also had some of our volunteers take purses to additional shelters.

Our original goal was to collect 100 purses and fill them with self-care items. Due to generous donations collected by our volunteers, we gave away a total of 580 purses.
