I hope it provides insight into who I am, my philosophy of life, my beliefs, and a glimpse of my accomplishments.
As a first-generation college student, the importance of education was instilled in me at a very young age. My parents' highest level of education did not extend beyond high school because of the lack of opportunities available to them. Because of this, I believe it is important to not only educate yourself but others as well. George Couros recently stated, "What good is it to be a lead learner, if no one knows what you have learned?" I was blessed to obtain a terminal degree so that I can be a positive example to not only my family but to others as well. I want to help others to see well beyond their perceived limitations.
